Interview with Charles Tupper, an attorney and a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives from El Paso, concerning his experiences and personal views as a member of the Regular and First Special Session of the Sixty-second Legislature. Tupper discusses revenue bills, corporate profits tax, the Sharpstown stock-fraud scandal, legislative ethics, the "Dirty Thirty," appropriations, redistricting, his personal legislation, and Governor Preston Smith.
